Where do donations go?

Donations can be directed to our general fund that assists local Zionsville pools with infrastructure improvements and benefits area swimming organizations with financial need. Donated funds can also be designated for an established campaign that meets our mission. Examples include scholarships for learn-to-swim programs, increased pool accessibility, and other special aquatic projects that fall within our organization’s mission. Can I earmark donations for a specific project?

Yes. Once a funding request has been approved by the Friends of Zionsville Swimming board, donations can be directed toward that particular request.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. We are a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, and as such, all donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Please consult with your tax advisor if you have questions.
