Our Mission
Friends of Zionsville Swimming (FZS) is dedicated to ensuring everyone in our community has the opportunity to learn to swim, stay safe in the water, and thrive through aquatic wellness. Without access to pools, none of this is possible. By investing in existing and new aquatic facilities and programming, we work to prevent drowning, build confidence and skills in the water, and strengthen the health of our community one swimmer at a time.
Our first big fundraising campaign is to help raise money for Azionaqua Swim Club’s new pool liner! Azionaqua is Boone County’s only Olympic distance pool, and it has provided swim lessons, swim team training, lap swimming, and water safety instruction to thousands of community members since 1960. This beloved aquatic center will not be operational without a new pool liner!
